The Micro Recon series from Cold Steel shares most of the same features as its bigger siblings. The differences are the use of super lightweight, strong handle slabs and a small key ring for attachment to keychain, packs, etc.
The blades are made out of 4034SS stainless steel and the G-10 style Griv-Ex handles scalloped for a terrific non slip grip. Plus, they are held together by the latest in high strength mechanical fasteners and further anchored by a 6061 heat-treated spacer. To complement their super tough blades and handles they’re equipped with Cold Steel’s revolutionary Tri-Ad lock, which practically precludes lock failure.
